Insuranceline Rewards Frequent Values Program Eligibility Criteria

Insuranceline Rewards Frequent Values Program (“Program”) is a 12 month membership offer to selected customers who purchase of a new Life Insurance, Income Protection or Funeral Insurance policy (“Eligible Insurance Policy”).  The Program offers customers access to a range of products and services such as restaurants, leisure activities, cinemas, retailers, accommodation, and much more. 

The Program will run from 25 June 2018 and expires at 23.59pm on 30 September 2021 unless extended by the Program sponsors.
The Program is sponsored by Insuranceline in association with Frequent Values by Entertainment™ Publications of Australia Pty Ltd ("Entertainment™ Publications") ACN 065 011 903 of Level 1, 121 Scarborough Street, Southport, QLD, 4215.  Insuranceline is a trading name of TAL Direct Pty Limited ACN 084 666 017 AFSL 243260 of Level 16, 363 George Street, Sydney, NSW, 2000 (“Insuranceline”).

Members of the Program ("Members" and "You") agree to the Frequent Values™ Terms and Conditions ("T&C") appearing directly after this Eligibility Criteria which are also published and subject to periodic updates at www. insurancelinerewards.frequentvalues.com.au.

Membership & Eligibility

The Program is limited to selected individuals only. Membership is limited to one account per individual. Employees, officers, directors, agents, and representatives of Insuranceline and its parent, subsidiary, and affiliated companies are not eligible for membership of the Program. You must be aged 18 years or older and a resident of Australia to be eligible for membership of the Program. 

To be eligible and considered by Insuranceline for membership to the Program, you must have provided a valid email address, postcode, first name and last name as part of your application for an Eligible Insurance Policy. If selected by Insuranceline (at their total and complete discretion) for access/membership to the Program, your email and post code will be used to provide your Program login.  By using your Program Login, you agree to be bound by both these Eligibility Criteria and the T&C.  The Program is void where prohibited by law. 
 
This offer is only available to Insuranceline customers (selected by Insuranceline (at their total and complete discretion)) who hold an Eligible Insurance Policy between 25 June 2018 and 1 September 2020 (inclusive). To remain eligible and keep your access to the Program, you must continue to hold the Eligible Insurance Policy for the term of your membership to the Program.  Insuranceline reserves the right to both offer membership/access to the Program to selected Insuranceline customers at its own unfettered discretion and also reserves the right to retract such offer of any time.

Eligibility criteria for selected customers include:  

  • Members must hold an Eligible Insurance Policy and activate their membership in the Program between 25 June 2018 and 23.59pm 30 September 2020.  No minimum premiums required.
  • The relevant Eligible Insurance Policy must remain in force throughout the term of the Program membership.
  • Insuranceline reserve the right to remove access for customers at our complete and unfettered discretion
  • If you’re eligible and selected by Insuranceline to participate in the Program, you will receive an email from Insuranceline.
  • Members must have submitted a valid email address, postcode, first name and last name as part of their application for an Eligible Insurance Policy  (login details will use the Member’s email address and postcode).

 Term of Membership & Activation

  1. If selected by Insuranceline for access/membership to the Program, you will be notified by email and provided with a Program login. You must activate this login in order to gain access to the Program.
  2. Your 12 month membership begins on the day that you are provided with Program login. To be able to utilise the full 12 months’ membership you must activate the Membership as soon as you receive the offer email.
  3. If you delay activation of your membership your 12 month access will be reduced by the time between date you were provided with a Program login and the date you activated your membership. For the avoidance of doubt this will be less than 12 months.
  4. If you have not activated your membership within 12 months of being provided with a Program login or in any case before 30 September 2020, whichever comes first, your access/membership to the Program will be forfeit.
  5. All logins issued under the Program will expire 12 months from the date they are issued and in any case on 30 September 2021.

 Frequent Values Terms and Conditions (T&C)

These Terms and Conditions apply to the use of the Frequent Values™ program found at insurancelinerewards.frequentvalues.com.au.
Throughout these Terms and Conditions, the goods and services will be referred to as the Frequent Values™ Program.

  1. INTRODUCTION

    1.1 The Frequent Values™ Program will enable you to access discounts from third party providers in the following sectors:

  • Dining (and takeaway)
  • Hotels and resort bookings
  • Attractions and activities
  • Cinema tickets
  • Shopping and gift cards
  • Lifestyle, beauty and health
  • Box office tickets
  • Local services
  • ​Car hire and travel
  1. LOG IN FOR CUSTOMERS

    2.1 Log in via insurancelinerewards.frequentvalues.com.au:

    (a) Use your postcode and email address provided in your introduction email from Insuranceline. After the first log in you will be able to personalise your password.

    (b) By activating your account via the website you accept and agree to these Terms and Conditions and the Privacy Policy. 

  2. DINING

    When dining at a restaurant, the restaurant will deduct 20% off the total bill up to a maximum deduction of $25. Only one digital redemption may be used per party. Before your bill is totalled, present the Insuranceline Rewards redemption screen on your smartphone to your server.

    The offer may be used on a repeat basis, however only once per merchant, every 24 hours. All restaurant offers are dine in only unless otherwise stated.  This offer is not valid for separate bills, one bill per table only.

  3. Takeaway

    To redeem offers within this category, present the Frequent Values™ redemption screen on your smartphone to a staff member at the point of purchase. Offers apply only to the items and terms specified. They may be used on a repeat basis, however only once per merchant, every 24 hours.  

  4. HOTELS AND RESORT BOOKINGS

    4.1 Enjoy 50% off the rack rate at leading hotels and resorts, or 10% off the lowest promotional rate, whichever provides the greater value (subject to availability).

     4.2 How to make a booking:

    (a) To access the best possible rates and other specials, book online at the Frequent Values™ website. Log in to the website and click on the link for Hotels, where you can search, compare rates and book online. 

    (b) You will receive an email confirmation of your booking. Print and keep a copy for your reference. Present your Frequent Values™ Digital Card upon check-in.

    4.3 Important Information:

    (a) Your 50% discount applies to the hotel’s rack rate (the hotel’s maximum published rate that all rates are discounted from), based on single or double occupancy, room only. Hotels may offer short-term special rates, and if these rates are the same or lower than those with your 50% discount off the rack rate, you will receive 10% off the best available rate. Hotels that do not have a published rack rate will provide 10% off the best available rate.

    (b) The Frequent Values™ rate is available for a selected number of rooms at each hotel or until a participating hotel expects to reach a level of occupancy whereby they no longer accept any further discounted bookings.

    (1) Some hotels may have a minimum night stay requirement during peak seasonal periods.

    (2) Block out times may apply at selected hotels during peak seasons and special event periods.

    (3) Hotels may discount only one room per membership per night.

    (4) The Frequent Values™ rate does not apply to special packages, seasonal, group or convention rates or travel agency bookings, and may not be combined with other discount programs.  

  5. ACTIVITIES AND ATTRACTIONS

  12. OFFERS

    12.1 Entertainment Publications of Australia Pty Ltd offers are exclusive and may not be combined with other discount programs.

    12.2 Entertainment Publications of Australia Pty Ltd may at any time, without notice to you, limit, modify, cancel or vary the availability of any offer.

    12.3 Entertainment Publications of Australia Pty Ltd may notify you about offers by email or SMS. 

    12.4 Entertainment Publications of Australia Pty Ltd will use its best efforts to ensure all offers are honoured. However, for the avoidance of doubt, Entertainment Publications of Australia Pty. Ltd. and/or its parent or subsidiaries will not be responsible if any third party provider breaches its contract or refuses to honour the offer.

    12.5 Entertainment Publications of Australia Pty Ltd will make reasonable efforts to ensure any information provided in relation to the Frequent Values™ Program via the website or through communications is correct. However, to the extent permitted by law, Entertainment Publications of Australia Pty Ltd do not accept any liability for the accuracy of such information.

    12.6 The barter, trade, sale, purchase, or transfer for compensation of your membership by any person or entity, including but not limited to travel services, travel providers and printers, publishers, and distributors of this product is strictly prohibited unless expressly authorised by Entertainment Publications of Australia Pty Ltd. These offers, and the membership are intended for use by the individual user of this product. Additionally, the use of this product and the membership for advertising purposes, in any form or fashion is strictly prohibited. Any use of membership in violation with these Terms and Conditions will render the membership VOID and violators will be prosecuted. The membership may not be reproduced and will be void where prohibited, taxed or restricted by law.

  13. FORCE MAJEURE

    Entertainment Publications of Australia Pty Ltd, TAL Life Limited and/or any of their parent or subsidiaries or related bodies corporate, will not be responsible in the event of Acts of God, fire casualties, strike or other events beyond its control that result in a provider offer being withdrawn or no longer available to the member.

    14.1 A dedicated Australian and New Zealand customer service team are available between 9am-7pm Monday to Friday, 10am-6pm Saturdays AEST. The telephone numbers are 1800 008 553 (Australia) and 0508 326 657 (New Zealand).

    14.2 A dedicated customer enquiry email set up and management via onlineservice@entertainmentbook.com.au is available.   

  15. PRIVACY

    To the extent Entertainment Publications of Australia Pty Ltd obtains any personal information (with the same meaning as in the Privacy Act 1993 and the Unsolicited Electronic Messages Act 2007) the collection, storage and use of your personal information is in accordance with our Privacy Policy which can be found at https://insurancelinerewards.frequentvalues.com.au/Privacy-Policy. By becoming a Member, you are deemed to have consented to the Privacy Policy as set out on https://insurancelinerewards.frequentvalues.com.au/Privacy-Policy.

    15.1  It is a condition of your participation in the Frequent Values™ Program that you consent to:

    (a) Entertainment Publications of Australia Pty Ltd using your personal information only as necessary to operate and provide you with access to the Frequent Values™ Program.

    (b) Entertainment Publications of Australia Pty Ltd using your personal information for the purposes described in the Privacy Policy.

  16.  Upon logging in for the Frequent Values™ Program, you are automatically opted into receiving marketing communications related to your membership. If you do not wish to receive these communications from us, please notify us by email at onlineservice@entertainmentbook.com.au or call 1800 008 553.

  17. LIABILITY

    In no event shall Entertainment Publications of Australia Pty Ltd, TAL Life Limited and/or any of their affiliates or related bodies corporate or any of their respective officers, directors, employees or agents be liable to you for any special, incidental, indirect or consequential damages, from loss of use, data or profits, or cost of procurement of substitute goods or services, in contract, tort or otherwise arising out of or in connection with the Frequent Values™ Program.

  18. GUARANTEES AND WARRANTIES

    18.1 Entertainment Publications of Australia Pty Ltd and TAL Life Limited are not the provider of the services. The third party providers accept responsibility for compliance with the Australian Consumer Law and New Zealand Consumer Law including all warranties, conditions or guarantees.

    18.2 In the event of a cancellation and subject to the third party providers notice period you may be entitled to a refund of whole or part depending on the circumstances of each case.

  19. CHANGES AND TERMINATION

    19.1 These Terms and Conditions are effective as at 9 October 2019. If you would like a copy of a previous version of these Terms and Conditions, as they applied at a prior point in time, please contact the Frequent Values™ team on 1800 008 553.

    19.2 Entertainment Publications of Australia Pty Ltd retains the right to change, suspend or terminate    these Terms and Conditions and vary the Frequent Values™ Program at any time if required.

    19.3 Entertainment Publications of Australia Pty Ltd will make every effort to retain third party   providers in the Frequent Values™ Program, however you understand that participating third party providers may cease participation from time to time and that this is beyond the control of Entertainment Publications of Australia Pty Ltd.

    19.4 Where there are changes to the Terms and Conditions and the Frequent Values™ Program, updates will be available on our website at insurancelinerewards.frequentvalues.com.au. For the avoidance of doubt, the version of these Terms and Conditions published on insurancelinerewards.frequentvalues.com.au from time to time will be the current version and will bind all users. 

  20. GENERAL

    20.1 Any disputes arising between customers relating to the use of the Frequent Values™ Program, should be first referred to the third party provider. For example, issues with cinema offers should first be referred to the cinema or venue in question and then, if not satisfactorily resolved, referred to our customer service department.

    20.2 Taxation: You are responsible and liable for any taxation implications relating to your participation in the Frequent Values™ Program.

    20.3 Governing Law: These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. The parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of courts exercising jurisdiction there.

  1. Definitions

    Digital Card means the Frequent Values™ redemption screen on a mobile device that displays the rotating crown and offer available to members or the virtual card found on your smartphone under your account details.

    Frequent Values™ Program means the content made available through accessing the Frequent Values™ Website.
